    Southland and the Sagarin

There is not an SLC team inside of the 200 mark. There are 350 Division I teams. Corpus (207), UNO (213), SFA (235) and SHSU (237) are the top four. Of the 34 conferences the SLC is 31.

SLC is a bottom feeder conference. What is our conference Sagarin rating in football?

Is this news? Not being a jerk. but isn't this in line with historical data? SLC is a small, low budget conference with small, low budget schools. It's who we are.
Its not how you start, its how you finiSH.

Only plausible reason Bobby Williams doesn't invest in our basketball programs. Our conference is so weak in college basketball world, why change the staffs of either the MBB or WBB programs. What would it get us? Even if we played an awesome OOC schedule and win, the SLC contests would bring is down anyway. Why bother?

What would it take for us to move to another conference? Can we be in one conference for football and another for basketball?

Why not just shut the BBall program down?

That would have been a great debate prior to spending $10M renovating JC. Now? #TooLate

Being in a "bottom-feeder" league is an advantage. Almost every good mid-major conference is still a one bid league. In a bad conference, going to the tournament should just be extra easy. All it means is there's less excuses for not getting it done.
